Memory Impact – week 3

January 28, 2008

My memory has a full impact on my ability to remember the figure that I saw on page 42 of the text-book in order to redraw it again. If I don’t remember a single portion of the figure; I don’t think that I will be able to at least have a slightest idea about the overall design of the figure. The human memory with no doubts is the physical archive for the human’s brain. If I don’t have a memory, I don’t believe that I will continue living normally. For example, if I planned for important events such as traveling during spring break to a specific beach; my expectation is that I will not make it to that beach because I don’t have a memory that stores my plans for the future. And thus, I can’t recall that I have made a plan to travel on spring break.

The part of the brain that is responsible of human’s memory is the Hippocampus; this part of the brain has the influence to control the memory in storing important information based on the human’s desires.
